Kanye has been rocking all-black outfits as of late, so it comes as no surprise that the upcoming adidas YEEZY BSKTBL KNIT “Slate Onyx” is a tonal jet black shoe with dashes of gray.
Color palette aside, this YEEZY BSKTBL KNIT Slate Onyx references portions of Yeezy’s original court shoe. Black 3D knit upper is woven with dark gray threads, giving the shoe more interest. On the toe box, 3M reflective knit is used, while the tongue is made up of a flexible neoprene material. Eyestays secure your foot in place while internal padding around the heel and forefoot provide additional support.
Yeezy fans will note that the adidas Yeezy 350 V2 CMPCT’s knit pattern also makes an appearance on this shoe. The sole, which is made up of BOOST cushioning, is encased within a translucent rubber. Such a design ensures high durability and shock absorption, boosting performance.
This adidas YEEZY BSKTBL KNIT “Slate Onyx” is rumored to drop in fall this year at a retail price of US$300. It’ll be made available on the usual sites: adidas CONFIRMED, Yeezy Supply and select retailers.
