Next in the line up of Gucci x adidas’ nostalgic collection, which pulls inspiration from Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s fond memories of the 80’s and 90’s, is a quadruple layered platform sneaker. Dubbed the adidas x Gucci GG Gazelle Shoes, these are the (literally) elevated counterparts of the original.
With a toasty brown canvas upper patterned with the interlocked Gucci-Trefoil print, the sneaker extends into a quadruple-colored platform featuring white, orange, yellow and blue. These were also colorways found on the OG adidas x Gucci Gazelle sneakers. The heel comes in a complementary Azure blue with gold adidas logo. “Gazelle” is also printed in gold foil beside the Three Stripes. A pristine white takes over the tongue, laces and Three Stripes.
This retro adidas x Gucci GG Gazelle Shoes will be available on adidas on 28 July at 10PM SGT. It will retail for US$1290. For more official photos and details, keep scrolling!
