First making its debut on AURALEE’s breezy Spring/Summer 22 runway, the AURALEE x New Balance 2002R finally has a release date, and it’s real soon. Landing on 15 July, the collaboration spawns two colorways — classic white and a buttercream yellow-beige.

Aligning with AURALEE’s minimalistic and clean aesthetic, the yellow-beige mix comes with a soft yellow upper that is contrasted by panels of grayish beige on the toe box and N logo. The yellow follows through to the laces while lining takes on an avocado green hue, giving the shoe an overall cheery but still understated look. A scale-like pattern is etched into the white midsoles while the outsole takes on a simple black.

In the white iteration, the same muted avocado green appears on the inner lining and on the suede panels on the lateral heel. This tropical fruit color is complemented with a tan hue panel while hits of lemon yellow act as accents on the outsole. The upper consists of a mix of mesh, nuback and suede.

Each colorway retails at 19,800 Yen (~US$146) and will be made available on AURALEE’s web store, New Balance and select retailers. For more details and images, keep scrolling!
