Sneaker Details

First announced via New Balance Korea, this new clog offering marks a shift for NB from its famed “dad sneakers” to the increasingly-crowded foam clog segment.

The New Balance Clog is made from a EVA foam similar to its competitors’. Coming in two colors Beige and Black, the design is kept simple and is inspired by New Balance “Shifted” sneaker concept. The clog features cut-out holes for breathability and a water-resistant make, in a reintepretation of classic outdoor shoes.

Form-wise, a square-shaped toe and big “N” motif give the clog a unique standout look. The Beige and Black color scheme also follows the monochromatic trend first set by clog pioneer Yeezy.

The New Balance Clog will launch for US$68 in Korea tomorrow. A wider international roll-out will likely follow.
