Utilising the highly popular Court Purple, this Air Jordan 3 will be made available on 24 August via Nike for US$200. These closer looks showcase that the leather is tumbled, giving the pristine white some texture. This is another classic colorway for the Air Jordan 3, and despite the lack of collaborations with this model, we expect it to be a popular release given its iconic status among the Jordans. Nike is planning to release the Air Jordan 3 in the same purple color scheme as Air Jordan 1 “Court Purple”!
Air Jordan 3, the third model of Air Jordan series, was born in 1988, and the shoe is one of the most popular in the Air Jordan series. Air Jordan 3 is known as having new elements compared to its predecessors. For instance, it utilises the the Jumpman logo instead of the Swoosh logo and includes the cement pattern. Also Air Jordan 3 was designed by Tinker Hatfield. He is a legendary designer in Nike at the moment and was the mind behind the Air Max. This is Tinker Hatfield’s first design and contribution to the Air Jordan design team.
The new color Air Jordan 3 is named “Dark Iris”, which is a white base with purple and black sprinkled on it. The design looks like a reversed version of the 2020 Air Jordan 3 Retro “Court Purple”.
