[Release 23 Jun] MSCHF is Up to Mischief Again with Forest Green Super Normal Sneaker
[Update 27 Jun 2022] Newly-surfaced photos reveal that the MSCHF Super Normal Sneaker is now available in green (or also known as the “Deer Hunter” colorway). This pair of forest green sneakers shares a very similar silhouette to the pair of MSCHF Super Normal Sneaker in white, with the wavy overlays and MSCHF tongue label. However, this pair features a forest green upper base with bright orange laces, underlay, and stitches. In addition, the MSCHF Super Normal Sneaker “Deer Hunter” is currently an exclusive for the friends and family of the MSCHF crew. Keep scrolling to see more pictures of this pair of sneakers!

American art collective MSCHF is stepping on the lion’s toes again with their latest Super Normal Sneaker. Looking suspiciously like a liquefied Nike Air Force 1, images of this predominantly white shoe were leaked online but has been confirmed to be legit by MSCHF.
Despite the similarity in silhouette, the design elements on the Super Normal Sneaker are (hopefully) warped beyond recognition. The toebox is distorted from its usual U-shape and the laces where the durae usually sits are slanted. The heel and tongue features the same wavy pattern, calling to mind the wave-patterns that appeared on the art collective’s Wavy Baby (which landed them in hot legal waters with Vans).
Their ongoing projects of making same-but-different shoes is likely MSCHF’s criticism of the sneaker landscape, whereby they claim that collaborations have gone stale. Only time will tell whether the Swoosh team will take action against the MSCHF Super Normal Sneaker, but for now the release is slated for 23 June. It will retail for USD$145 on the MSCHF SNEAKERS (not SNKRS) app.
