[Update 15 Nov] The collection has been teased for months now. As the 28 November release date draws, the anticipation continues to build. Recently, DJ Khaled himself was seen wearing the salmon “Crimson Bliss” colorway at an NBA game, resting the pair over an ornate throw pillow. Nothing’s too ostentatious for the man.

Many images of the collection have been shared over the course of the last few months but official images of the “Crimson Bliss” and “Sail” colorways have been released. From them, we get a more angular and detailed look of the two. They’re expected to arrive with alternate laces as well as a collection-custom shoebox.

Once more, they’ll be released as part of Cyber Monday on 28 November with a price tag of US$225. Good luck catching them on SNKRS. The above-mentioned will be the only ones getting a general release with the other two in the four-pack produced in only 23 pairs.

[Update 06 Sep] After dropping “God Did” last month, Khaled will give us more blessings when his Air Jordan 5 “We The Best” pack drops. It’s currently scheduled for 28th November but you can expect an update should things change, or when more details surface. Till then, keep winning, keep living. We the best!

[Update 19 Jul] Based on information from @zsneakerheadz, the DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 “We The Best” in “Sail” (Light Grey) and “Crimson Bliss” (Salmon Pink) colourways will be releasing later in 2022, while the “Polar” (Light Blue) and “Court Purple” (Purple) colourways will be Friends and Family exclusives. [Update 23 Jun] Thanks to @prvt.selection and @knowing_kicks we now have closer and on-foot looks of the DJ Khaled x Nike Air Jordan 5 “We The Best” in Salmon Pink. These pictures reveal that the leather does not have a smooth finish. Rather, it has slight neck wrinkles that give the shoe more texture.  The release of these photos signal that the DJ Khaled x Nike Air Jordan 5 We The Best collection might be dropping real soon, so keep your eyes glued to our page for updates.

One of the most renowned sneaker collector, DJ Khaled, and Air Jordan have collaborated on a fascinating new design!

DJ Khaled is one of the most popular hip-hop DJs and music producers in the United States. Also known as one of the world’s leading sneaker collectors, he has a huge sneaker closet in his home and a “sneaker palace” in Miami. In 2019, the longstanding relationship between him and Nike led to the release of two colors of Air Jordan 3, “ANOTHER ONE” and “GRATEFUL”, to promote his new album. Those that managed to get their hands on those sneakers were the envy of sneaker freaks around the world.

Four colors of the Air Jordan 5 by DJ Khaled are now appearing in the name of his second album, “WE THE BEST,” which was released in 2007 and sold 440,000 copies in the USA. The uppers and midsoles are decorated in bright purple and gentle pastel colors of blue, orange, and green, while the outsole features the iconic “AJ 5” clear rubber. The heel is emblazoned with the original “NIKE AIR” logo and the words “WE THE BEST”. The lining is made of quilted material and comes with a special shoe box.
