1. About Nina Chanel Abney x Nike Air Jordan 2 2colors

The latest Air Jordan 2 has been boldly reimagined with contemporary artists “Nina Chanel Abney”s designs!!

One of the few pairs of Nike shoes made in Italy that eliminates the Swoosh, the “Air Jordan 2” is a breakthrough in Nike’s history. To the model, Nina Chanel Abney, a contemporary artist from Illinois, USA, based in New York City, has attempted to break the rules as this collaborative of bold reimaginings of existing designs.

Nina Chanel, who abstractly expresses diverse themes such as race, religion, gender, and politics, rearranged the AJ2 to reflect her own style. Similar to Nina’s portraits, in which shading and unevenness are reduced to the bare minimum to represent the human figure, the paneling of the AJ2 is revised to minimalist layering. The name “NINA CHANEL ABNEY” is placed on the insole, and a tag depicting Nina’s portrayal of MJ is attached. The design is full of originality, incorporating the abstract painting as it is.

This model has a finish that is reminiscent of the Air Jordan 2 prototype, and the two retro colors (Red/White, Green/White) go hand in hand to create a sneaker that is sure to be popular with every generation.
