[Update 28 Jun 2024] Officially named “Grandma’s Driveaway”, Nigel Sylvester ascertains his Nike Air Jordan 4 RM’s release date as 20 July 2024.

He also shared insights behind its design: The shoe’s green hue, nicknamed “Fence Green,” reflects the color of the fence surrounding his grandmother’s driveway, where his love for BMX began at the young age of 4. Even the packaging gets a personal touch, with the bottom of the shoebox mimicking the cracked concrete pavement of that very driveway.

Succeeding his Nike Air Ship “Every Game” early this year, BMX pro rider Nigel Sylvester is back with another collaboration with Jordan Brand, the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 RM. The new model is set to be released as part of Jordan Brand’s Fall 2024 collection.

Although images are scant at the time of writing, the rumor mill purports the upper will feature a unique design with mesh inserts, an encompassing cage, and a low-top toe box.

The heel bares a Nike Air branding, with the tongue adorned with the Flight logo. The midsole and outsole unaltered, and Nigel Sylvester’s personal touches and branding throughout.

The palette will be composed of Midnight Green, Metallic Platinum, Black, Sail, Dark Smoke Grey, and University Red.

Projected for release in the fall next year, more details should emerge in the coming months so expect more updates here at this very page!

In the meantime, check out the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle XIX Collection 2023.
