1. About Nike Air Max 1 “Safari”

In 1987, Nike legend Tinker Hatfield introduced the “Air Pack” featuring three types of Nike Air. This year, the “Air Max 1” which was born from that trio celebrates its 35th anniversary. Sneakerheads worldwide are anticipating a variety of new Air Max designs, and so far Nike has delivered.

Now, an AM1 using the “Safari” pattern has been added to the lineup. This pattern has been carried over from the legendary 2002 atmos x Air Max 1 “Safari”, the first official Air Max 1 collaboration that has been coveted and sought after by sneakerheads for a decade. With the new AM1 “Safari”, Nike delivers a nostalgic nod to old-timer sneakerheads, while mixing up the design with new elements for a sense of novelty.
