Taco fans rejoice! You can now rep the same “Taco Jay” colorway that Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics’ star and known taco aficionado, had on his player-exclusive Air Jordan 34 Taco Jay PE.
One glance at the bold colors on the Nike Air Jordan 36 “Taco Jay” is all it takes to link it to classic taco. The Citron Pulse, Atomic Green, and Cone colors that dominate the upper are representative of the hard yellow taco shell, creamy guacamole and mouthwatering hot sauce.
But outshining the unabashed use of color is the Taco mascot that rests on throat overlay, just atop the lacing system. One of the Taco’s furrowed eyebrows is replaced by the Nike Swoosh, giving the mascot a stern look that seems comically adorable against the bright colors. The words “Taco” and “Jay” also feature on the heel tabs and insoles.
Replicating the delightful experience of opening a box of tacos after an arduous game, the Air Jordan 36 Taco Jay comes complete with a custom lime green shoe box. A definite elevation from the usual Jordan boxes!
