[Update 28 Jun 2022] New images of the Crocs Clog have surfaced, courtesy of sneaker account @sneakertigger. In addition to the previously-seen White pair, a new Sand colorway is revealed. In two close-up shots, the Crocs Clogs is also shown with interchangeable ankle straps in a style similar to the Salehe Bembury Crocs.

Summer brings the sun and Crocs releases! The success of Salehe x Crocs has generated whispers of newer silhouettes joining the Crocs family, and this might have just become a reality. In exclusive photos by @sneaker_head_sample, a new Crocs “Clog” sample is out and about.

The muted grey is the palette of choice, allowing the perforated design to stand out. The upper retains its usual holes but with a different placement. In this run, they are pushed to the side in a curve pattern that follows the rounded toe of Crocs.

The sole takes centre stage with bigger, oval cut outs that give the sole a cage-like quality. It has been likened to Kanye’s Yeezy Foam Runners, which carries similar oval-like perforations and a wider heel. However, it can also be argued that the Crocs Clog has a slimmer overall frame and accompanying heel straps that make it unmistakably a Crocs. Regardless, the breathability on this new Crocs Clog and its muted colour make it a perfect summer slip-on, be it at the beach or by the pool.
