Has it really been 30 years since Sailor Moon was released? As it turns out, it has — and the legendary anime is celebrating it with a bang! Working with Vans, the collaboration features the beloved tales of love and friendship of the Sailor Guardians printed across a line of iconic Vans footwear, apparel and accessories. It is a nostalgic treat for fans who have dearly missed the original series.

Among the 30 styles available in the collection, the Sk8-Hi Stacked stands out for its infusion of textiles. Satin quarters and smooth leather overlays are made magical with Sailor Moon’s iconic brooch and bow. The sidewall features a printed gradient that ends in translucent heels and toe bumpers adorned in the Guardians’ planets. For those looking to rep the cast, the Authentic has the Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask splashed across its upper as a tribute to the characters that created fond memories.

Similarly, the Old Skool Patchwork showcases a collage of anime scenes from the hit show that are bound to induce memories to wearers and onlookers. Supporters of both the Guardians and the Dark Kingdom would find their equilibrium in the ComfyCush Slip-on. Those looking for a more understated sneaker to honour the anime should consider the Old Skool, whereby symbols and a starry night sky dominate the upper.
