Resurgence of the past and nostalgia seems to be a running theme for the sneaker world as of late, and Converse hops onto this trend with a collection that features one of the most fondly-remembered cartoons: Charlie Brown and his playful Peanuts gang.

A limited edition release that spans clothing, accessories, and Converse sneakers, this drop includes a previously teased Woodstock print Converse Chuck 70. Known as Snoopy’s kind-hearted, singing bird-friend, Woodstock’s characteristic yellow brightly colours the shoe. Scattered atop is a camo print of Woodstock in “Yellow” and “Topaz Gold” — an eye-catching piece that slides right into summery activities. Woodchuck also makes an appearance with his sleepy friend Snoopy on the Chuck Taylor All Star (also available in kids’ sizing!) and Converse One Star.

Charlie Brown and his motley group of friends are also playfully injected into the Chuck Taylor All Star atop “Signal Red”. Readers of this well-loved comic will immediately see the colour’s resemblance to Snoopy’s iconic roof, where he spends his days lazing on. Marking this collaboration is the PEANUTS title text stitched onto the tongues and Charlie Brown’s signature zig zag pattern printed on the insoles. Given such design elements, the sneakers from this release scream Peanuts-comic-strip-nostalgia when viewed from any angle.

There’s more! Expect to see these lovable character prints on a wide range of apparel: Woodstock-speckled shorts, reversible bucket hats printed with memorable comic strip panels, crew neck sweaters with characters printed on the length of the sleeve, and an adorable assortment of backpacks and tees.

Aside from limited edition drops, fans are also encouraged to make the purchasing experience even more special through a customised experience. Aptly named “Peanuts by You”, select sneakers and apparel act as a personal canvas for you to decorate with desired Peanuts-themed prints.
