QUICK LOOK:
Where to buy the Nike Air Trainer 1 ‘Chlorophyll’.
Previously, it was the Nike Dunk Low, and before that, the Nike Air Jordan 1 High. Now, Nike has set its sights on resurging the popularity of the Nike Air Trainer 1s. Indeed, the incoming collaboration with Travis Scott on the model largely showcases this. Notwithstanding, before that surfaces, Nike seems to be pumping out OG colourways of the historical sneaker that was first released in 1987 as a cross-training shoe.
Coming this time in a ‘Chlorophyll’ colourway, this particular iteration is not a new one. It was instead prior designed by the famous Tinker Hatfield as one of the OG Nike Air Trainer 1s, and remains one of the sneaker model’s most famous make-ups. The features of the sneaker are as follows.
The colourway of the sneaker is in a retro-ed white, green and black, giving it tons of versatility. There is a forefoot strap present on the shoe in black and green. Notably, the green is also present in the shoe’s tongue, eyelets and heel. Lastly, the upper of the shoe is crafted out of a nice broken-into white leather, a black mudguard and grey unbuckle overlay panels. On the midsole, we see the classic Nike Air cushioning that promises to deliver you a good and functional workout.
Classic sneakerheads are likely to be pleased with this release. Further, new sneakerheads to the game might want to consider picking up this historical sneaker for good measure. As of current, the shoe is set for a release date on Nike SG on the 13th of May at a retail price of $219 SGD. There is also a US release scheduled for the 20th of May, while it seems that the sneaker has already hit stores throughout Europe.
