The “Gel-Lyte 3” was born with the design of Japanese designer Shigeyuki Mitsui, based on the policy of “Asics,” which values the athlete’s perspective, and solid technical capabilities. The shoe incorporates a “split tongue” that reduces the load on the foot as a functional beauty, and the “GEL” cushioning material provides lightweight comfort. 30 years have passed since its birth in 1990, and it now has a solid presence on the fashion scene, with many world-class sneaker stores now choosing them for collaborations. The Asics masterpieces, such as this Gel-Lyte 3, GT-2 and so on, have made the Japanese brand famous around the world still.

The new “Purple Matter/Hunter Green” lineup is a new colorway of these two masterpieces, which is based on the keyword “sustainable” in recent sneaker culture. The upper is based on green and purple with a touch of yellow, creating a catchy color scheme reminiscent of the grandeur of nature. Textured materials such as leather and suede are made from scrap materials left over from the production process.
