New collaboration model between adidas and Japanese sneaker shop “atmos” will be released for paying homage to the history of EQT as 2nd released!!

The adidas “EQUIPMENT” series made its debut in 1991 with a focus on athlete supremacy. The series boasted a unique design that revolutionized the image of sneakers at the time, while at the same time featuring a high spec that is worthy of being positioned as the “Best of adidas”.

The sneakers had a strong presence in every category, from running to basketball to adventure lines. In recent years, the category has been rebranded and its retro-futuristic style has taken the streets by storm. And when it celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2021, the EQUIPMENT Prototype, of which only samples existed at the time, was released as collaboration with atmos. Also the Tokyo’s sneaker shop “atmos,” that was involved in the special order, came into the limelight too and introduced Tokyo’s sneaker culture to the world again.

This article introduce second color of atmos x adidas EQT Prototype. The second collaborated EQT Prototype will be released by atmos features the iconic “Sub Green” color of the EQT from the past, with a vibrant color scheme. As with the previous version, the side of the shoe features a gently curved overlay with a motion blur logo underneath. The heel, toe and eyestay are decorated with the quintessential “atmos” camouflage pattern, and the logos of both companies names are engraved on the heel and deubre. While paying homage to the classic “EQT” series in the history of sneakers, the fresh colors and clever layered look make it an urban look.
