SNKRDUNK classifies the condition of single cards into four Condition Levels, A to D.
Here are the most common types of damage and our guideline standards for each. Tap an image to enlarge it.
A condition where the white paper base shows on the edges or corners of the card, such as from peeling at the cut edges.
Indentations on the front or back of the card.
Scratches or scuffs on the front or back of the card.
Layers at the edges or corners of the card have separated and lifted due to friction or aging.
Staining from water, oil, etc. that has soaked into or stuck to the front or back of the card (excluding marks that can be wiped off, such as fingerprints).
Marks caused by ink touch-ups or writing are considered outside of our guideline standards and cannot be listed.
These conditions are not caused by use, but may occur during the manufacturing and distribution process.
Initial manufacturing defects
Minor cut marks that may occur during the manufacturing and distribution process and mild warping that can be confirmed from the time of primary distribution are considered initial manufacturing defects that meet our guideline standards for condition “A”. However, if such defects are very noticeable, the item will be listed as condition “B”.
If an item falls under multiple Condition Levels, the lowest applicable level (the one with the most damage) is the condition of the item, and it will be listed under that lowest applicable level.
| Condition | White chipping | Denting | Scratching | Peeling | Staining | Manufacturing scratches |

| Many clearly noticeable white chipped areas over an extensive area | Many large, clearly noticeable dents | Many clearly noticeable scratches over an extensive area | Large, clearly noticeable peeling in several places | Noticeable staining that cannot be wiped off, in several places over an extensive area |
Writing etc. that detracts from the card’s design, food/beverage staining, and conditions such as the following are considered outside of our guideline standards and are not accepted for listing on SNKRDUNK.
Regarding “Magic: The Gathering” (MTG) items
If a single card shows issues such as ink marks, heavy creasing, or water damage, like those shown on this page, it is normally ineligible for listing, even as condition “D”. However, in the case of “Magic: The Gathering” single cards only, items in a condition outside of our guideline standards may still be listed if all of the following conditions are met:
For items authenticated by third-party grading companies, item conditions are listed as follows:
Item conditions are listed based on the evaluation grade assigned by each grading agency.
For items graded by other companies, the condition is listed as “Other Graded”.
Our inspection and authentication are conducted with the item as is, still inside the card holder. As a rule, the condition of the card itself inside the holder is considered to conform to the evaluation of each grading company, and we do not perform detailed condition checks on it.
*If the condition of the holder does not meet our standards, or if the card itself is deemed to be counterfeit, the transaction will be canceled.

The following guidelines are provided for sellers listing items on the Japanese version of SNKRDUNK. Please note that listing is not available on the Global version of SNKRDUNK. Please use this information as a reference when making a purchase.
Please select the correct “Item condition”. For details, please check the standards on this page.
Please do not include content that is likely to mislead the buyer or that differs significantly from the listing information.
*Inspection and authentication are based solely on our standards. The content of item descriptions and comments (including information that identifies an individual item, such as PSA certification numbers) is not taken into account.
You can list a maximum of 10 of the same item in one listing, as long as all cards match the one on the listing page.
*If a card that differs from the item on the listing page is included, regardless of the listing pictures, your listing may be deleted or the differing card may be disposed of before shipping.
Please remove cards enclosed in opaque sealed packaging (such as magazine inserts) from their packaging before listing.
At the time of inspection, our team will confirm that the item matches the listing information and our quality standards. Incorrect listing information may result in cancellation of the transaction, and a cancellation fee (10% of the price) may be charged.
Listing pictures are optional (you can also add them after listing). For high-value cards where buyers may be concerned about the condition, adding pictures helps them purchase with confidence.
