Come early April, one of the sport&#8217;s most prestigious events, the Masters, will take place at Augusta National Golf Club. There&#8217;s no doubt that footwear brands will look to leverage the popularity of the event, and we&#8217;ve already seen Nike&#8217;s Augusta tribute with the <a href=\"https:\/\/snkrdunk.com\/en\/magazine\/2023\/02\/01\/for-the-masters-at-augusta-nike-air-max-1-golf-always-fresh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Air Max 1 Golf &#8220;Always Fresh&#8221;.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hopping on the Masters&#8217; fever is ASICS, putting forth a GEL-Lyte III that&#8217;s crafted just for the occasion. While unofficial, the design of the upcoming GEL-Lyte III &#8220;Shamrock&#8221; is definitely influenced by the greens. The highlight: suede uppers that come in a color that&#8217;s reminiscent of the Masters&#8217; ceremonial green jacket.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, small hints of yellow appear on the toe box, eyestays, and inner lining, providing a contrasting pop of color on the all-clad green makeup. Around the back, the ASICS logo is coated in red, with the signature &#8220;GEL&#8221; branding coming in the same shade of yellow as aforementioned.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding off the design is a clean white midsole along with a tan-treated outsole underfoot, giving off a look that&#8217;s similar to a sand trap on the fairways.<\/p>\n<p>While a release date has not been confirmed, expect to find this ASICS GEL-Lyte III &#8220;Shamrock&#8221; at ASICS stores and select retailers in the coming weeks.
