[Update 30 Mar 2023] Rumors are rife again that the upcoming Carhartt x Nike SB Dunk might indeed turn out to be the long-awaited Eminem tripartite collaboration. According to Japanese site Full Ress, the collaborative SB Dunk will arrive sometime in the later half of 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If the news is real, this Eminem x Carhartt x Nike SB Dunk will, without a doubt, go on to become one of the most coveted kicks of the year. Stay tuned as we continue to bring you the latest on this story.

\"Line\"Over the weekend, rumors have been swirling about a possible reunion between workwear giants Carhartt and Nike SB. While the duo have frequently collaborated on other silhouettes such as the Air Force 1 Low and Air Max 95, you’d have to go all the way back to 2004 to find their Nike SB Dunk Low.<\/p>\n

Back in a time where Dunks were sitting on the shelves of skate shops and retailers alike, the two Carhartt x Nike SB Dunk Low colorways became an instant hit with fans worldwide. One came in Carhartt’s signature shade of brown, while the other came in a more subtle hue of dark grey.<\/p>\n

You’ll be hard pressed to find them these days, even harder if you’re looking for a deadstock version. Classified as a grail by the sneaker cognoscenti, you’re going to need to fork out hundreds upon hundreds if you want to get your hands on them. But fret not\u2014Nike has your back.<\/p>\n

While there’s no imagery of the new Carhartt x Nike SB Dunk Low as of writing, rumors are saying that this upcoming 2023 rendition might bring forward inspirations from the brown 2004 “Shale” colorway. Nothing is confirmed as of yet, but you can jog your memory via the top slider above.<\/p>\n

It’s also not immediately clear if this is referring to the previously purported Eminem x Carhartt x Nike SB Dunk Low<\/a> that surfaced last year. Nike could very well bring both colorways back, with the dark grey one coming hand-in-hand with Slim Shady.<\/p>\n
