[Update 20 Mar 2023] This multi-color New Balance 9060 now has a confirmed release date, alongside an official new name. Named the New Balance 9060 “Warped”, this eye-catching pair will drop on 31 March with a US$150 price tag.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The doom and gloom of the winter season is at its curtain call, and New Balance is marking it with a vibrant take on their 9060 model. The scheme echoes the tones of the spring and summer seasons with every color on the spectrum on display. It’s hyperbole, of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brave, bright, and bold. The upper comes dressed in tonal greens sharing its duties with hits of purple and black. Most notably however is the “N” logo on the lateral that sees a gradation of red and yellow, reminiscent of the sun, which also lands on the TPU heel mould below. On the medial, the same colors but with a solid color-blocking. Tonal pinks gives life to the ridged sole unit below, complemented by red accents on the medial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A mix of material forms its construction: There’s the standard double-mesh base layer, while suede forms the bottom half of the overlays as leather presides above. Anchoring all the earlier-mentioned is the black outsole underfoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A release date is yet to be disclosed but expect to see them on New Balance’s website within the coming months as the climate makes its switch. Prepare to fork out US$150 if you’re planning to make a cop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
