\"LINE\"To the average joe, Beijing is the famed capital of China that’s filled with dozens of historical landmarks. But to hoopers worldwide, the capital city is home to the Sunset Dongdan basketball tournament.<\/p>\n

The annual competition is cherished among streetballers globally, to the point where it’s labeled as the “Holy Land” of Chinese streetball. And where there’s basketball, the Jordan Brand is sure to turn up.<\/p>\n

To celebrate this year’s iteration of the Sunset Dongdan tournament, the Jumpman team is creating a special Nike Air Jordan 5 Low “Dongdan”.<\/p>\n

Maybe it’s due to recency bias, but there’s an urge to draw comparisons with the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG \u201cBlack\/Phantom\u201d<\/a> thanks to its all-black nubuck upper and visible white stitchings. That being said, the Air Jordan 5 Low’s traditional design elements remain intact.<\/p>\n

Pink is the color chosen for its iconic midsole spikes. A similar hue is used on the translucent outsole, exuding a cloudy-candy vibe underfoot. This is further channeled on its specially printed insoles, which features a violet sky graphic along with the Jumpman logo. Rounding off the design is the tournament’s logo on the heels, embroidered in white to match the stitching on its uppers.<\/p>\n
