The &#8220;NB Archive Remastered by AURALEE x TDS&#8221;, a collection borne in tandem with New Balance&#8217;s Japan-based unit Tokyo Design Studio, is set to drop tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>The NB Archive Remastered by AURALEE x TDS consists of a range of apparel including colorblocked sweaters, nylon chambray tracksuits, long-sleeve and short-sleeve tees, and caps. The idea of reinterpreting archival New Balance pieces came to Ryota Iwai, AURALEE&#8217;s founder-designer, after he met two New Balance collectors who own rare, forgotten NB pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Iwai subsequently teamed up with TDS and the partners dived into the New Balance archive for more design inspo. Referencing styles from the 1980s and 1990s, AURALEE infused their signature clean, sleek aesthetic into the pieces through masterful pattern-cutting and color play.
