[Update 9 Mar 2023] The New Balance 610 “Beef & Broccoli” has gotten a release date in Japan. The highly-discussed model will drop on 17 March with a price tag of JPY19,800. Stay tuned for updates on the release dates of the other two colorways.

[Update 28 Feb 2023] As we await for the release of the “Beef & Broccoli” and “Khaki & Navy”, an additional “Aluminum” colorway has been revealed. Take a look at the cool tone pair on the article slider above and expect the pairs to arrive consequently in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

\"LINE\"It looks like Yue Wu has more up his sleeves for the New Balance 610. Following his reworked editions<\/a> and several patent-leather pairs<\/a>, New Balance’s star designer is applying his magic touch to more models in the revived trail-running series.<\/p>\n

Posting on his Instagram account, Yue Wu unveiled two new colorways of the New Balance 610\u2014”Beef & Broccoli” and “Khaki & Navy”. Interestingly, this time around, Yue Wu has chosen the original 610 silhouette from 2012 to weave his magic on.<\/p>\n

The New Balance 610 “Beef & Broccoli” and “Khaki & Navy” reprise the standard suede-on-mesh construction and both pairs are completed by black liners and sole units. On the Beef & Broccoli, brown suede overlays wrap atop a forest green mesh upper; whereas the Khaki & Navy features overlays in khaki over a soothing navy upper.<\/p>\n

The laces are chunkier and appear in a combination of the respective titular colors. On the Khaki & Navy, green-hued leather also covers parts of the lace unit.<\/p>\n

While the OG NB 610 makeup has been kept unchanged, Yue Wu’s eye for colors has certainly given the old school model a much-needed refresh. However, when compared to Yue Wu’s previous remodels, this two upcoming pairs do give off a more obvious trail runner vibe.<\/p>\n
