[Update 22 Feb 2023] It didn’t take long at all for Nike to put out official images for this upcoming Nike Dunk High “Dark Curry\/Monarch”. We get a closer look at the satin material used on the overlays, offering a much more premium looking option to the usual Dunk High variety. Stay tuned as we’ll bring you more information about its release as soon as we get them.<\/p>\n\n\n

The glossy, shimmering satin material is starting to appear more frequently in the Nike Sportswear catalog. The varsity jacket material, which was previously seen on a Dunk Low in UNLV colors<\/a> and an immaculately spotless “White\/Red” Air Force 1 Low<\/a>, has taken it up a notch on the Dunk series. With this version of a lifestyle-friendly Satin Dunk High, the “Dark Curry” gravy train is in full flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This subsequent Dunk High features the same two-toned colorblocking as the 1999 co.jp Dunk Low edition, with dark curry brown on top and a flat white smoother leather on the base. Instead of the white nylon tongue of the ’99 pair, the tongue of this 2023 Dunk High variant matches the shoe’s upper in color. In contrast to the 2022 “Blue Satin” release<\/a>, elements may be simplified while the spice adds flavor to your sneaker rotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
