Usually, the release calendar starts off with Lunar New Year in late Jan/early Feb with its zodiac animal-themed sneakers and Valentine’s Day in mid-Feb with its romantic pink silhouettes.

What commonly follows for the Swoosh brand is Easter, which usually falls somewhere in early-to-mid April. Easter releases usually carry soft pastel-like colors, perfect for the incoming spring season. This year is no exception to that schedule. With Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day releases out of the way, Nike has shifted their focus towards Easter.

One silhouette that has enjoyed a consistent showing across the aforementioned holidays is, of course, the ever-present Dunk Low. It probably surprises no one that the ubiquitous sneaker is making yet another appearance in April, with this Nike Dunk Low “Easter” set to make a reprise.

Visually akin to its 2022 predecessor, this year’s iteration features a somewhat similar color palette as last year’s Easter offering, with Nike turning the color wheel just a little. Carrying the same spring vibes, the 2023 Nike Dunk Low “Easter” carries a wide selection of pastel colors, utilising a soft purple on its nubuck overlays while a pale yellow adorns the base of the uppers.

To change things up, the slightly more vibrant yellow Swoosh carries a textured finish, while a blue gingham pattern embellishes the collars, setting up the perfect fit for a spring time picnic. Rounding off the design is a gilded Easter Bunny-shaped graphic stamped on the inside of the tongue tab.

It’s definitely a pretty shoe and one that’s fitting for the the joyous occasion. While release details are scanty at the moment, you can preview the Nike Dunk Low “Easter” via the top slider above. Reportedly, this pair will arrive only in GS, PS and TD sizes.
