[Update 16 Mar 2023] And so it seems, the holiday season may belong to the Jumpman. The final months of the year will see the release of several retros including the “Satin Bred”<\/a> and “Royal” Reimagined<\/a> AJ1, and the “Gunsmoke” Winterized AJ8<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part of this barrage as well is this “Georgetown” AJ5. They’re scheduled to arrive within weeks of its contemporaries on 10 November. It’s not uncommon for release dates to be shuffled around. If anything changes however, expect an update here faster than you can say “Michael Jordan is secretly Santa Claus.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"LINE\"It looks like the Georgetown Hoyas is getting repped once more by Nike. An upcoming pair of Nike Air Jordan 5 in the Hoyas’ signature midnight blue and grey colors is rumored to be in the works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although no official images have been released by Jordan Brand, mockups of the Nike Air Jordan 5 “Georgetown” have surfaced and they show the model wrapped predominantly in navy nubuck, prompting the nickname “Reverse Georgetown”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To complete the Georgetown look, black and grey accents have also added. Expect the midsole to come in a mix of black and grey with speckles in similar shade on the AJ5’s shark teeth. The tongue will likely feature 3M reflective material, while the Jumpman logo and eyestays sport a contrasting black.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This pair of Air Jordan 5 “Georgetown” is slated to drop during Holiday 2023 and is tagged to a US$210 price tag. Stay tuned as we continue to bring you more updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
