There’s a circle within the NBA that consists of elite players like Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, and Damian Lillard\u2014just to name a few. Although playing for different teams, they’re all linked together by the lines drawn by tattoo artist Steve Wiebe. His clientele may include the league’s upper echelon, but he’s a familiar name to Jordan Brand as well.<\/p>\n

He’s made art out of the Air Jordan 10 in conjunction with Footlocker’s House of Hoops in 2017; and another out of the Air Jordan 37<\/a> for a PE with frequent collaborator Jayson Tatum.<\/p>\n

This time, it’s for the beloved Air Jordan 4 baring the same ink motifs from the aforementioned player’s skin. With the OG “Black Cement” as the canvas, Steve Wiebe shows no restraint. The upper is engulfed with tattoo art similar to the AJ37. The distressed denim finish further adding a grungy energy to the aesthetic, adding another layer to the “chaos”.<\/p>\n

Framing them are the cream signature wings and pull tab, hallmark of the AJ4. All of which sit atop an aged midsole at the fore and a red outsole underfoot.<\/p>\n

The pair was debuted by Taco Jay himself during the tunnel walk at the Boston Garden. An alternative white colorway was also teased by Celtics trainer Nick Sang.<\/p>\n

They’re a player exclusive so a retail release is unlikely… for now. As with other PEs released in the past, there’s a chance they’ll see the light of day, once years removed.<\/p>\n
