\"LINE\"The Nike Air Max 180 “Ultramarine”, first released in 1991, is returning in 2024 with a bigger “180 degrees” Air unit. This follows news of the Nike Air Max 1 “Big Bubble”<\/a>‘s retro release\u2014the OG 1987 silhouette with visible Air cushioning that went on to spawn one of Nike’s most successful product lines.<\/p>\n

During the time of its release, the Air Max 180, which was released a few years later, marked an even bigger leap in terms of sneaker innovation than its predecessor. It was the first Swoosh model to feature 180 degrees of visible Air technology by bonding the urethane sole unit with an exposed Air bubble.<\/p>\n

Fans would undoubtedly be excited with this piece of news. Years of R&D is finally paying off for the Swoosh brand\u2014the 2023 “Big Bubble” reportedly took the Nike design team three years to recreate and perfect; and, now, the Air Max 180, more technically challenging to produce, is slated to return with a bigger and more stable Air unit.<\/p>\n

Expect the 2024 Nike Air Max 180 “Ultramarine” to sport the same white, Solar Red and Ultramarine hues. The sneaker will also likely feature the familiar mesh and suede construction with an icy translucent Air unit down below.<\/p>\n
