[Update 17 Jan 2023] More detailed images of the upcoming Jordan Tatum 1 has surfaced thanks to @consistentkixzllc<\/a> on Instagram, including a new look at the insole branding. Despite Jayson Tatum himself saying that the earlier teased images are “not real”, this new round of leaked imagery doesn’t stray too far from the original. Check out the new images via the top slider above and stay tuned as we’ll bring you more updates including official photos once we get them!

\nReceiving a shoe deal with a brand is almost a guarantee for most NBA players these days, but obtaining your very own signature model is something reserved for only the elite\u2014even more so at the home of one of NBA’s Greatest of All Time. After leading the Boston Celtics to the NBA finals last season, Jayson Tatum has continued his tantalizing form coming into the 2022-2023 season.<\/p>\n

Not only are the Boston Celtics the best team in the NBA at the time of writing, Tatum himself is also constantly thrown into MVP talks on a weekly basis. There’s no better time for both the rising superstar and the Jumpman brand to release his first signature shoe, the Jordan Tatum 1, otherwise known as JT1.<\/p>\n

Thanks to @kicksvisionofficial<\/a> on Instagram, we’re able to get a first look on the upcoming JT1. Dubbed as the “Zoo” colorway, the silhouette looks bold and dyanamic, perfect for the Celtics’ superstar style of play. Built as a mid-cut, the JT1 “Zoo” sports a black mesh material on its overlay, taking up much of the upper. The rest of it is decorated with an intricate red pattern, as well as a gold embroidered Jumpman logo.<\/p>\n

The statement of the JT1 comes in the form of its eccentric white midsole, which cuts into the black overlay and features two “windows” that is underlaid with an additional red mold lining. Rounding off its design is a gold JT logo on the tongue, previously seen on some of his Jordan PEs.<\/p>\n

You can expect to see this silhouette debut on 7th April this year at select retailers and Nike, at a retail price of US$120.<\/p>\n
