Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER and Dr. Martens are definitely not an unfamiliar duo, with having seen various collaborative releases throughout a span of almost ten years. This time, returning for their first drop of 2023, the duo looks to the latter’s iconic 1461 silhouette for a collaborative update through patterns and colors.<\/p>\n

Taking somewhat a prominent aspect found in the Japanese label’s clothing, checkered linings decorates the smooth leather uppers of the Made in England pairs. In case that does not scream “UNDERCOVER” enough, debossed typography of their “We Make Noise Not Clothes” catchphrase adorns the sides of each pairs. Lastly, co-branded insoles completes the design as an asseveration of the duo’s identity.<\/p>\n

Set to release on 13th January, the UNDERCOVER x Dr. Martens SS23 1461 collection will be made available in three colorways\u2014blue, black and red\u2014via UNDERCOVER and Dr. Martens.<\/p>\n
