With rival brands such as adidas and Crocs dominating the market with their foam slides over the past few years, it’s no surprise that the Swoosh brand is reportedly looking to join in on the action courtesy of @soleretriever<\/a> on Instagram. The alleged Nike Calm slides are expected to release in Fall this year, at a retail price of US$50.<\/p>\n

The new open-toe sandals comes with no frills attached. Noting a minimalistic aesthetic, the Calm Slide comes dressed in five colorways, namely “Sail”, “Black”, “Sesame”, “Geode Teal”, and a women’s exclusive “Jade Ice”. The overall construction of the slip-ons seems to be a one-piece EVA foam material, with a molded-on upper band that provides a comfy and snug fit.<\/p>\n

Let’s address the elephant in the room though\u2014yes, there’s an uncanny resemblance to the infamous Yeezy Slides. It certainly seems like the Swoosh brand is looking to take advantage and fill in the gap left behind by the recent fall-out between adidas and Ye.<\/p>\n
