[Update 19 May 2023] It’s still months away but the release of the Air Jordan 1 High “Royal Reimagined” draws more imminent by the day. Fuelling this anticipation are the waves of images that have emerged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the earlier update, this time a more holistic, and angular looks at the pair. With the sample surfacing, official images should makes their way out of the pipeline soon enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 17 May 2023] A new in-hand image of the upcoming Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Royal” has emerged, courtesy of @le.syndrome<\/a>. No further announcements about its release has been made yet, but the appearance of an early leak suggests points towards some truth behind its rumored 4 November drop date. Stay tuned for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 15 Mar 2023] In addition to the last update, a 4 November release date has emerged! Considering that it’s still seasons away, best believe there will be an update here should anything change. Nevertheless, no harm setting a reminder on the calendar now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Update 6 Feb 2023] New information’s surfaced that these “Royal” AJ1 will arrive during the holiday season of this year, as opposed to the originally reported 2024. Its swapped places with the “Black Toe” on the release calendar, news further ascertained by Sole Retriever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although official images haven’t yet come to light, sources do point that they’ll come in full-family sizing with Men’s going for US$180; GS for US$140; US$85 for PS; and US$70 for TD. Stay tuned! Considering this could vie for the top spot in the biggest releases of 2023, information should come out the rumor mill in speedy succession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 hasn’t even left the station and the Jumpman has already set a course for 2024. Word through the grapevine is that the beloved Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG \u201cRoyal” will have a homecoming early next year. The colorway is an oft-considered grail along with its “Chicago” and “Bred” counterparts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s purported that this upcoming iteration will be overhauled the same way as the recently released \u201cLost & Found\u201d<\/a>, formerly known as the \u201cChicago Reimagined\u201d. Its hallmarks will be a mainstay but new materials and finishes may be integrated into the pair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The singular mockup from @jfgrails<\/a> and @glitchedgarbage<\/a> serves as a rosetta stone to what the retro’s final design could look like. It points to a full suede construction on the upper but other sources say that cracked leather and yellowed midsoles may also be in the mix\u2014as seen on the earlier-mentioned “Chicago Reimagined” and the upcoming “White Cement Reimagined”<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not much else is known at the moment but if there’s any veracity to the rumors, then a perfect storm is brewing over at the Swoosh. There’s more than a full year between now and D-Day but when more words gets to us, we’ll be sure to get them to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
