[Update 6 Jan 2023] Thanks to @gc911<\/a>, we now have closer looks at this Air Jordan 1 Low “Concord”. As previously expected, glossy black patent leather captures the eye and is complemented with an equally striking icy gum sole. Jordan branding is also meticulously embroidered onto the leather heel and tongue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This AJ1 Low design is circulating on the internet as the “Patent Panda” colorway, which makes sense given the upper’s colorblocking. No official names and release dates have tied themselves to these newly unveiled images, but we can expect this pair to drop in the coming months. In the meantime, look to the image gallery above for detailed looks.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not esoteric knowledge within the cognoscenti that the Air Jordan 11 was designed by Tinker Hatfield to look like a sneaker and a tuxedo shoe all at once. The patent leather is a signature that makes it distinct from its contemporaries. Every offering within the retro catalogue has a hallmark feature and over the years, each one has cross-pollinated. Case in point: the Air Jordan 1 adopting the 11’s quintessential “Concord” colorway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The titular shoe goes from hardwood to marble floors as it gets elevated with its successor’s imprint. Black patent leather lands on the white leather base as it does on the die-cut profile Swooshes. Moreover filling the interior while accenting the pair on the tongue and the Jumpman presiding. White embroidery of the Jordan Wings logo, as far as embellishments, serve as the final touch on the heel counter. And just as much as the patent leather, the “Concord” motif gets rounded out through the blue crystal rubber underfoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s set to release within the coming weeks with a RRP of US$120. Find them on SNKRS when the powers that be calls it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
