Nike will be releasing a reissued 90’s basketball shoes model, the Air Max2 CB 94, in a new “Phoenix Suns” colourway!<\/p>\n

    1. About Nike Air Max2 CB 94 “Phoenix Suns”<\/h2>\n

    The Nike Air Max CB was born in 1994 as a signature model of Charles Barkley, a NBA Power forward (after 16 seasons in the NBA, he later went on to become a television analyst, working on shows such as “NBA on TNT”, “Inside the NBA”, and the 2020 hit, “The Last Dance”).\u00a0The Air Max CB boasts high specifications as a game shoe,\u00a0utilising Max Air in the heel for bounce and responsiveness, a high top form for ankle support, and an elastic band to reinforce the foot.<\/p>\n

    The new colourway is titled “Phoenix Suns”, the team\u00a0Barkley played in from 1992. The cult classic silhouette is dominated by white, which allows the other vivid colours used in smaller proportions throughout the design to shine. Freckle-like holes are\u00a0punched across the white leather upper, revealing a contrasting black underneath. Nike and Air Max branding take their positions on the ankle, heel and tongue, and Charles Barkley’s jersey number, 34, is engraved\u00a0in black behind the ankle. Meanwhile, a sole unit comprising of black, “Total Orange”, “Varsity Purple” as well as a bright red within the Max Air unit adds\u00a0vibrancy to the shoe. The sole unit also features a design resembling Godzilla’s teeth, a possible reference to “Godzilla vs Charles Barkley<\/a>“, a hit Nike TV commercial from the 90’s.<\/p>\n

    The Air Max2 CB “Phoenix Suns” will be releasing 1 Feb, with a retail price set at $160. More details below.<\/p>\n
