A render of a new Air Jordan 2 “Black Cement” has popped up on our feeds and it looks… strangely familiar. Part of Jordan Brand’s 2023 “Heritage Twist” pack, this upcoming AJ2 is an homage to the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement”, first released in 1988 and which will be turning 35 next year.<\/p>\n

The AJ2 features the original colors of its AJ3 sibling from 1988, sans the iconic Elephant print. The mockup depicts the shoe with a black leather upper punctuated with grey accents at the heel and tongue areas, and red trimmings around the tongue\u2014much like the AJ3; underfoot, a Sail midsole is joined by a grey-and-fire red outsole.<\/p>\n

The Air Jordan 2 “Black Cement” is tagged to a 23 September 2023 release and a retail price of US$175. Combining a trending silhouette with a well-loved Jordan colorway, it looks set to become a grailed item amongst sneakerheads.<\/p>\n
