But one notable project in 2021 was with European collective KASSL Editions, when the duo joined forces for a non-profit footwear release to support the mental health charity. Taking the feedback from customers and people of the industry, the duo reflects on the explorative idea through an upcoming collaborative release.<\/p>\n<p>Partnering up for a special project, the duo revisits the running icon \u201cGEL-NIMBUS 9\u201d for a retro-futuristic rendition. Taking the fundamentals of their own designs, KASSL Editions dips the sneaker in their signature oil coating, which provides a protective shield from water while giving a contrasting shine to its dark aesthetics.
