[Update 26 May 2023] @zsneakerheadz<\/a> has come through with a first look at the upcoming Nike WMNS Air Jordan 2 Low \u201cVarsity Royal\u201d. Official images should arrive ahead of its 10 August release date. Stay tuned!<\/p>\n

\"LINE\"This piece of news comes a full year ahead of its scheduled drop. By now, everyone’s well-aware of the impending onslaught of retro releases that the Jumpman’s planning for next year. Perhaps, only Jim Carrey’s Walter Sparrow can figure out if there’s any connection between ’23 and “23”. As far as anyone can tell, what’s loaded in their chamber is way past that number.<\/p>\n

Anyhow, the Air Jordan 2 Low \u201cVarsity Royal\u201d joins the foray. Courtesy of Sole Retriever<\/a>, we at least have a basic look at what the pair could be.<\/p>\n

In line with the current favor for the vintage aesthetic, these AJ 2s adopt the staple white leather\u2013sail midsole combo, with the titular color making its way through the lining framing the toe box; the insignia on the tongue; heel counter; and lastly, on the heel on the outsole where it shares duties with Black Muslin. The aforementioned colour adds definition through the collar and interior.<\/p>\n

With a release date so distant, anything can change from now till then. But if they do, expect an update on this very page. If you’re a big fan of the silhouette, look into the Nike Air Jordan 2 Retro OG \u201cChicago\u201d<\/a> also scheduled for next year.<\/p>\n
