Takashi Murakami\u2019s art has been a symbol of pop-art culture, with his flower being a synonym of his creative output. Seen on Kanye West\u2019s album cover, Billie Eilish\u2019s music video and many more, the Japanese artist has worked with many names for collaborative releases and also venturing into the NFT field.<\/p>\n

With just having a release with Lewis Hamilton<\/a> a month back, Murakami is back for another collaborative collection with none other than American rapper\/singer Post Malone. Diving into the notable icons of the duo, the lineup of tops and accessories features Murakami\u2019s flower, Mr Dob and Post\u2019s butterfly as the design motifs.<\/p>\n

Just like how Murakami\u2019s flower represents trauma and Post\u2019s butterfly represents hope, contrasting prints labels their respective name against the other\u2019s artwork while they form a smiley expression when combined together.<\/p>\n

Pre-released for a pop-up event ongoing at 433 N Fairfax Ave in Los Angeles from 16th to 20th November, the Post Malone x Takashi Murakami capsule collection will be made available online from 21st November exclusively via NTWRK.<\/p>\n
