[Update 17 Feb 2023] The Nike Terminator High \u201cVelvet Brown\u201d are out now. Find them on Nike’s brick-and-click with a price tag of US$125. Nevertheless, they’ll be released in Japan shortly between 23 and 25 February.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"LINE\"This year, Nike has been digging deep into their cookie jar, giving new life to forgotten silhouettes like the Air Kukini and Zoom Vomero 5. Part of what they’ve pulled out is this near four-decade old Terminator High. The archetypal basketball silhouette has plenty of eyes on it as of late, thanks in part to COMME des GAR\u00c7ONS HOMME PLUS taking on the pair, as well as the imminent arrival of the “Georgetown” colorway.<\/p>\n

Riding through this inertia comes the “Velvet Brown” iteration, reflective of the tones of the fall. Diverging from its forebear, the pair in discussion arrives in a black canvas construction as the base. The jet-black tone settles on the tongue tag, the mesh textile tongue, and the leather on the heel. The titular color arrives by way of the leather overlays on the mudguard, eye stays, heel tab, and more importantly, the die-cut Swooshes on the profiles. A brightened burgundy adds variance through the laces. Supporting everything in the above-mentioned is a “Sail” midsole, completing the sombre aesthetic as intended.<\/p>\n

A release date hasn’t been announced by Nike but it’s safe to expect that it could be in the coming weeks. A US$125 price tag is currently attached to the pair and when the pair goes live, they should be available at their brick-and-click stores worldwide.<\/p>\n
