[Update 20 Dec 2022] The Vans x Timberland crossover is officially dropping today! Featuring a whole new silhouette, the Vans x Timberland Half Cab Hiker, in two colorways (Wheat and Chocolate\/Olive), and Vans’ take on Timberland’s 6-Inch Boots, the collab marks the first time the two juggernauts are teaming up.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Half Cab Hiker is the undeniable star here, sporting what is essentially a mash-up of the Vans Half Cab’s upper and Timberland’s Euro Hiker Boot tooling down below. Browse through the official images of the collaborative kicks via the gallery above.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Line\"Timberland has reunited with Vans for another collaboration that’s geared for the outdoors and the ramps. As siblings under the VF Corp family tree, it is not unexpected that the two have come together for the winter season to prepare a line of kicks that protect your feet from sleet.<\/p>\n

The first of which is Timberland’s iconic 6-inch premium boots that has proven to be a durable companion for any ground-heavy adventure. Retaining its seam-sealed construction and rugged lug outsoles, the main addition is Vans’ checkerboard pattern printed along the boot’s waterproof leather. White contrast stitching lines the checkered pattern, further accentuating its presence despite its tonal black color. Timberland’s usual laces have also been swapped out for coiled, no-tie laces for easy access.<\/p>\n

On Vans’ end, the Half Cab sees an outdoor overhaul. Atop a mossy green suede are brown leather panels with the tree logo and Half Cab branding debossed onto the premium material, Timberland-style. The typical flat soles that are fitted to the Half Cab have also been exchanged for the hiker’s preferred lug sole for better grip. The lacing system also closely mimics that of trail-ready boots.<\/p>\n

No official release dates have attached themselves to this functional Vans x Timberland collection, but we expect it to land soon given the leaks (courtesy of @le.syndrome<\/a> and @shaiful182<\/a>).<\/p>\n
