GRIPSWANY may have started in America during the gold rush of the 19th century, but since planting their flag in Japan, they’ve completely metamorphosed into a label with a complete apparel offering specially designed for a vis-\u00e0-vis with Mother Nature. Bringing along the aesthetic of their hallmark yellow gloves, they apply their signature on a tripartite collaboration with Crocs and atmos, to bring a heavy-duty iteration on the most polarizing footwear in the last decade.<\/p>\n

The canvas for the project is the Classic All-Terrain Clog, retrofitted with a flame-retardant “BLAZE SHIELD” material covering the shaft and upper. The aforementioned is derivative of camping tents evident through its zip-up front opening. Other inspired details from the great outdoors make their way on the pair as embellishments.<\/p>\n

Technical inputs are applied through the back pocket on the rear, along with a removable heel rope for portability, while also equipped with a thermal insulator on the lining. Aesthetically, the they’ll be available as militaristic black and wooden olive. Crocs’ DNA remains imbedded through the custom, collaborative Jibbitz.<\/p>\n

The GRIP SWANY x atmos x Crocs Classic All-Terrain Clog will be available on atmos and GRIP SWANY’s brick-and-click stores from 3rd November while they’ll get a wider release at Crocs’ online store from the 7th. The price point is set at \u00a514,300 (US$97). Lottery for the pair has also opened at atmos’ website<\/a> and will close on 2nd November.<\/p>\n
