Though adidas and Ye’s future as collaborators seem murky with the Three Stripes putting their relationship under review, it seems like the Yeezy Foam Runners will continue push through the darkness and into the retail light. The “Flax” colorway, specifically.<\/p>\n

Made up of lightweight foam compound, the Foam Runners previously saw the usual “Onyx” and “Desert” color washes<\/a> but was later morphed into an abstract MX Carbon look<\/a>. However, with Ye causing uproars about his creative expression (or the lack thereof), adidas plays it safe with the neutral-toned Flax \u2014 a tried and true colorway on the slides that is simple enough to replicate onto the porous slip-on “sneaker”. Not to mention, this toasty brown is quintessentially Ye, who has proven time again that muted earth tones are his go-to for the Yeezy range.<\/p>\n
