Sneaker designs have undergone many revolutionary stages throughout the years. From classic colorways to oversized dad shoes and retro-futuristic silhouettes, it makes people ponder, \u201cWhat\u2019s next?\u201d. To think of sneakers as just a footwear would be the norm, but brands are thinking outside of the box, with \u2018Art\u2019 as another approach to their designs.<\/p>\n

Taking that approach would be footwear label VEJA and luxury house MARNI. Known for the signature V that is spotted on the sides of VEJA\u2019s sneakers, MARNI has decided to add elements of DIY-inspired art in the form of scribbles. Yes, just scribbles.<\/p>\n

The once minimal outlook has turned into something one could never imagined being worn on the foot. While it seems like there\u2019s no design philosophy behind the markings, the sneaker actually proves to have one with its unorthodox look.<\/p>\n

Taking the low-top V-10 silhouette, the pair gets decorated in colorful blue\/green\/purple scribbles, along with a black-only pair. Similar to the latter, a high-top V-15 version is also introduced in the collection. Finishing the details would be a handwritten MARNI logo on the back, showing how loud the brand is with their identity, just like their designs.<\/p>\n

Stay tuned as the VEJA x MARNI collection will be releasing on 13th October exclusively via MARNI, followed by a general release on 20th October.<\/p>\n
