Beats and Kiko Kostadinov have joined forces to reimagine the portable speaker through the lens of design, history, and cultural memory. The result is the limited-edition Kiko Kostadinov Beats Pill\u2014a striking fusion of contemporary minimalism and timeless craftsmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this collaboration, the Bulgarian-born, London-based designer drew inspiration from the intricate geometry found in ancient Thracian iconography. These patterns, long steeped in symbolism, transform the Beats Pill\u2019s custom grill into a canvas of heritage\u2014where every shape carries echoes of the past. The body is rendered in Kostadinov\u2019s signature Kiko Gray\u2014a cool, neutral shade that speaks to utility yet retains an understated elegance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completing the design is a colorful braided lanyard, a nod to protective charms and ceremonial threads found in Bulgarian folklore. Much like the talismans that would be passed down through generations, it\u2019s an emblem of connection\u2014between history and the present, craft and technology, sound and meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
