Taiwanese pop superstar Jay Chou is back in the sneaker spotlight, teaming up once again with Nike and his own streetwear label PHANTACi for a new symphony in leather, mesh, and air\u2014the PHANTACi x Nike Air Max 95.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the harmonious success of last year\u2019s Air Max 1 \u201cThe Grand Piano\u201d, Chou returns to the studio\u2014or rather, the sneaker lab\u2014drawing inspiration this time from his other passion: the guitar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

True to his detail\u2011obsessed style, the shoe comes with a PHANTACi guitar pick necklace dangling from a gold chain, a pearloid Jay Chou tongue logo, and tortoiseshell accents that will strike a familiar note with any six\u2011string aficionado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The upper blends multi\u2011layered grey leather panels with gradient fades, balanced by textured mesh for contrast. Metallic gold \u201cPHANTACi\u201d lettering graces the heel tab, while a hidden PHANTACi logo waits on the outsole for those who know where to look. The palette\u2014white, black, and metallic gold\u2014subtly nods to The Grand Piano collab, creating an unspoken link between the two releases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nike has yet to announce an official release date, but word is the Jay Chou PHANTACi x Air Max 95 will start hitting select retailers\u2014and possibly Nike SNKRS\u2014later this year. Stay tuned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
