Craig Green and adidas Originals are back for another season of collaborative sneakers, with more of Green’s refreshing conceptual takes on the footwear giant’s classic silhouettes.<\/p>\n

For Fall\/Winter 2022, Green honed in on the good old Stan Smith, and one of the myriad designs first previewed on the the brand’s FW22 runway now has a confirmed release date. Dubbed the SCUBA STAN, Green has essentially combined the ridged sole he had created for the adidas CG SCUBA PHORMAR with a Stan Smith upper.<\/p>\n

Of course, no Craig Green sneaker is complete without the brand’s iconic cording and quilting elements. On the SCUBA STAN, Green’s cords wrap around the foot from front to end. We also get the ergonomic scuba sole (inspired by scuba footwear) which features the familiar ridged design, a nod to the British designer’s quilting techniques and the adidas Three Stripes.<\/p>\n

Green debuted three colorways at his FW22 show\u2014Beige, Black and the iconic Stan Smith Green-on-White. Early imagery from various sneaker accounts have shown us the beige and green\/white pair, with the black pair’s release unconfirmed for now.
