Nike and Kobe Bryant will always be tethered. Beyond the homecoming of Bryant\u2019s signature footwear under the \u201cProtro\u201d line, the Swoosh continues to honor the latter by steadily broadening its Kobe-themed offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year has seen a strong showing with new Nike Kobe Protro releases, branded apparel, and even an unexpected Protro iteration of the Air Force 1 Low<\/a>, reimagined in homage to Bryant\u2014with the tribute to continue well into 2026. Recent industry reports indicate that the Dunk Low is slated to receive the \u201cProtro\u201d treatment in the coming year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though official images have yet to surface, early mock-ups (courtesy of Sneaker Files) suggest the pair will arrive in a \u201cFierce Purple\/Blue Lagoon\u201d makeup\u2014an apparent tribute to Bryant\u2019s 1996 NBA draft moment with the Charlotte Hornets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pair’s \u201cProtro\u201d suffix hints at performance-focused updates to the classic silhouette, much like previous Protro releases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the time of writing, Nike has not confirmed the release of a Kobe Bryant x Dunk Low Protro. Details, including a confirmed look at the rumored \u201cDraft Day\u201d colorway, remain pending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
