Following the successful launch of the Willy Chavarria x adidas Jabbar collaboration<\/a> earlier this year, the fashion designer is back with a new, clean colorway. Originally debuted at Paris Fashion Week, the partnership now introduces an off-white and gold version of the classic low-top silhouette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Willy Chavarria x adidas Jabbar Low “Off White” features a rubber toe cap and gold branding on the tongue. In a nod to the shoe’s namesake, NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the name “Willy” is printed in gold on the left shoe’s lateral side, with “Kareem” on the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chavarria, a Chicano designer from California, has long embraced the influence of Latin culture in his work. He chose the Jabbar silhouette not only for its classic design but also because of Abdul-Jabbar’s history of progressive activism. The basketball icon, now 78, is a vocal supporter of immigrants and has funded programs for Black and Latino students in STEM education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Release Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Willy Chavarria x adidas Jabbar low “Off-White” will release on 16 August 2025, for US$160. It will be available in unisex sizing via the adidas CONFIRMED app and at select retailers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
