Crocs has been pushing the agenda of stylish comfort, and every few years they make a return leading the movement. The pandemic brought comfortable wear back into vogue with the rubber Crocodile at the forefront of it. Riding this renewed wave of popularity, the brand is making the most of this renaissance with fresher designs.<\/p>\n

The latest of its push-outs is an Echo silhouette \u2014 a fully molded clog that is sculpted from the brand’s signature Croslite\u2122 material and LiteRide\u2122 drop-in footbeds. But aside from the same comfy-tech, the look of this Echo model seems to have taken a page out of Salehe Bembury’s Pollex clog.<\/p>\n

Gone are the gaping holes on the upper that Crocs are known for. Instead, they have been minimised and pushed into a wave-like pattern that flank the sides. Fret not, these holes are still big enough for 14 Jibbitz, so you can still customise them to your fancy.<\/p>\n

Down below, the usually filled base exposes its interior and exterior with slices across the sole area, allowing greater breathability. Not to mention, it leans into the recent streetwear fad of deconstruction and redefinition. A turbo backstrap is fitted at the back to ensure that the Crocs Echo stays on, and not reverberate off your feet.<\/p>\n

Available in two colorways (for now)\u2014a simple Stucco and a warm-toned Desert Grass\u2014the Crocs Echo Clog will retail for JPY8800 (~US$69.99). It is available on Crocs’ web shop<\/p>\n
